Beginning

I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life and I’ve never let it keep me from doing what I wanted to do.”
— Georgia O'Keefe

Starting anything new is a challenge. Fear of making mistakes, creeping doubts, or frustrations are commonplace.

As I launch my company, I'm reminded that we all must become masters in new endeavors, leaving comfort and warmth behind in order to grow. Growth is that crystalline moment when passion or interest moves us...when our thirst is stronger than fear, when we know we must follow our passion.

What is it that you find irresistibly beautiful, touching, or energizing? What is the voice inside asking you to do with that passion?

The landscape of northern New Mexico inspired and moved Georgia O’Keefe to paint her greatest body of work over the last forty years of her life. New Mexico's beauty was undeniable and her love for the landscape moved O’Keefe to paint and paint and to experiment. Not only did she do that, arguably she broke her own mould again and again. Her last works were some of her most profound.

Imagine being pulled toward your passion like a magnet, letting it move you into action.  Try asking yourself, what is that next step to following your interests?
